Hello! I keep getting that entry in my /var/log/messages su: (to nobody) root on none and PAM-unix2[9816]: session finished for user nobody, service su What does it stand for, do i have to worry about it? Thanks Spiekey
Hi, It's updatedb that updates the database for 'locate'. updatedb is started by cron as user root and changes to user nobody before it starts scanning the files. Normal behaviour I think.
