firewall on an old 386-laptop?
Hi all, i've got an old 386-laptop with 6MB memory and 60 MB HD. Do i have any chance to use this box as a firewall? How much memory/HD is needed at least for a firewall? Regards, Udo
I am working on the same problem with an old FedEx Powership II 386 and have
found most floppy based firewall (ie. floppyfw and linux router project)
distros require at least 8 megs of RAM. If you find one that will work with
less please let me know.
