http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13192 ------- Comment #4 from pavel5@tut.by 2007-11-14 00:05 PST ------- hm... recent unaltered driver works. It seems, many problems with notebook (including videocard) solved by recompiling kernel with option "PCI Access mode" set to "BIOS". PS: sorry for disturbance -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. _______________________________________________ xorg-team mailing list xorg-team@lists.x.org http://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-team -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13192 lverhaegen@suse.de changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|ASSIGNED |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED ------- Comment #5 from lverhaegen@suse.de 2007-11-14 03:56 PST ------- X tends to poke the pci io registers directly and tends to not use the values the kernel has stored from bootup. So this on its own would have fixed the bad pci vendor id there, and explains why you only hacked conntest. Closing as fixed, since this was old driver + kernel pci borkedness. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. _______________________________________________ xorg-team mailing list xorg-team@lists.x.org http://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-team -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
