Re: [radeonhd] Suspend to RAM regression

Hi,
I wasn't able to suspend a Lenovo T60 (x1400) to RAM following yesterdays git updates. The LCD panel would bloom white and suspend would fail, but the keyboard was still responsive to ctrl-alt-del.
I've reverted commit 2feff5cb81db551e1b25a60a3cd4c130a6f3c9af - add wait for memory idle state - and this has got things working for me again. Let me know if you need logs & I will try to retrieve them.
Jon, please create a Bugzilla entry for this. Can you do a normal VT switch? I would need logs (preferrably verbose 7 ones) of a suspend (or the VT switch if this also fails). I need to see if we hang at any place. Cheers, Egbert. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

I can confirm this also happens on just a VT switch (suspending must have been the first thing I did that triggered a switch). I've added a verbose log to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14690 The last line repeats forever...
