RE: [radeonhd] xf86-video-radeonhd:master: 1 commit(s)
This commit now allows the driver to recognize the HDMI port [3] on my laptop, however it still sees a DVI port [2] which does not exist. Is this intended behavior? Unfortunately I don't have an adapter to physically test this port, but I'm happy to see progress happening! Relevant Xorg output, full log is attached: (II) RADEONHD(0): Connector[0] {RHD_CONNECTOR_VGA, "VGA CRT1", RHD_DDC_0, RHD_HPD_NONE, { RHD_OUTPUT_DACA, RHD_OUTPUT_NONE } } (II) RADEONHD(0): Connector[1] {RHD_CONNECTOR_PANEL, "LVDS LCD1", DDC_NONE, RHD_HPD_NONE, { RHD_OUTPUT_LVTMA, RHD_OUTPUT_NONE } } (II) RADEONHD(0): Connector[2] {RHD_CONNECTOR_DVI, "DUAL_LINK_DVI_D DFP2", RHD_DDC_1, RHD_HPD_0, { RHD_OUTPUT_NONE, RHD_OUTPUT_TMDSA } } (II) RADEONHD(0): Connector[3] {RHD_CONNECTOR_DVI, "HDMI_TYPE_A DFP1", RHD_DDC_1, RHD_HPD_1, { RHD_OUTPUT_NONE, RHD_OUTPUT_NONE } } Thanks for all the hard work! Add support for HDMI connectors.
HDMI connectors are treated like DVI connectors. Several users have reported to have patched their quirklists and made HDMI work by marking it as a DVI connector. We just follow this route by providing this patch - which is totally untested.

HDMI has been added by a hack we're not completely sure with. Unless we
have a board with HDMI ourself, we cannot test this.
Still your connector table looks strange - different HPD, but same DDC
for the DVI? Maybe it's broken, wouldn't be the first...
