Then start Xorg by xf86debug - which creates a full blown stack trace using gdb.
Is xf86debug a script I should have on my system, or is it downloadable? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. _______________________________________________ xorg-team mailing list xorg-team@lists.x.org http://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-team -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

If it still works, please test b9648ff~1 (the ~1 is important) - it should work w/o the options, and crash with the options.
I pulled b9648ff~1 and it did not crash with or without the options. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. _______________________________________________ xorg-team mailing list xorg-team@lists.x.org http://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-team -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

Not much useful in this. I will try the other suggestions
It looks like you don't have any debuginfo packages for the Xserver installed. Also, radeonhd should best be configured with "./configure CFLAGS='-O0 -g'" and recompiled completely for a reasonable stack trace. If b9648ff~1 doesn't crash at all, the stack trace is the only way to determine where it actually crashes, because I don't see how this commit could be broken. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. _______________________________________________ xorg-team mailing list xorg-team@lists.x.org http://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-team -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
