OK, this line is bad. You are indeed not seeing a DDC signal. Do you have a KVM switch in between? Also it's often worthwhile to check the monitor cable. From the connector table data in your log file I read that you are connecting an analog output to a DVI connector. It's possible that your VGA2DVI adapter is broken. Do you have the opportunity to exchange at the components monitor, cable, adapter and test with different ones?

Why do you have to use the option "HPD" "off"?
Server crash with unable to find Monitor.
Ok, from the output above I read that HPD didn't work. This could indicate a problem with the adapter. Cheers, Egbert. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

Yes, I have strange HP dual head cable. But it works fine with native ATI drivers or in Win32 environment. Is there any suggestion from drivers side?
