[opensuse-project] [Off-topic] Does SUSE move to suse.com?
Hello withsusesians! When I open http://www.suse.com I still get redirected to http://www.novell.com/de-de/linux. Are their plans for moving back to suse.com as an independent website? thanks -- Kim Leyendecker (kdl@k-dl.de.vu) openSUSE Ambassador, openSUSE Wiki Team DE HAVE A LOT OF FUN! http://www.opensuse.org Have you tried SUSE Studio? Go to http://opensuse.org SUSE [SLES/SLED/whatever-else] != openSUSE And that has been true for a long time. Use http://opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org

I know this. It was just a question to the SUSE-guys on the list. -- Kim Leyendecker (kdl@k-dl.de.vu) openSUSE Ambassador, openSUSE Wiki Team DE HAVE A LOT OF FUN! http://www.opensuse.org Have you tried SUSE Studio? Kim, SUSE is the main sponsor of the project but still this is not a place to discuss SUSE. As part of the change from Novell to Attachmate and the new SUSE business unit, you will see some marketing changes happen, I'm using already my suse.com email address and I expect changes in other areas like the web presensce as well. I thought here was the place. The project mail list. We are not on openAttachMate. There is a SUSE in our name, so this is the place. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. Via your SUSE support contract?
I thought here was the place. The project mail list. We are not on openAttachMate. There is a SUSE in our name, so this is the place.
The project name is "openSUSE"; substring is not an applicable function. My name is "Adam" which implies no relation to the Ada programing language. My middle name is Tauno, which is my father's first name, which implies no necessary relation other than a historical one [although my father happens to be a pretty cool guy]. Names are just labels; substring is not an applicable function. I'm really tired of the SuSE/Novell/Attachmate business, conspiracy theories, and related hoopla. SuSE was a distribution with an important and impressive pedigree. openSUSE is a distribution with an amazing community and bright future. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org

There is no conspiracy theory here. SUSE is related to openSUSE, in both directions, and that can not be denied. So what happens to SUSE seems to me a fair question to be asked about in this mail lists. And by "happens" I, we, are not thinking of anything "bad". - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. Well, thanks I get the answer. Others get the answer. There´s no more need to talk about conspiracy theories in relationship with SUSE and openSUSE. So, I would say: thread closed. Dudes, if you want to talk about conspiracy theories, try to find JFK´s real murderer or try to convince James Earl Rays innocence, okay? :-) -- Kim Leyendecker kdl@k-dl.de.vu openSUSE Ambassador, openSUSE Wiki DE Send from my notebook -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org
