[opensuse-project] When exactly is 12.1 discontinued?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, According to https://en.opensuse.org/Lifetime it was to be discontinued last wednesday, but there have been no emails on the opensuse-announce mail list. I expected: Advance discontinuation notice for openSUSE 12.1 and about a month later a: openSUSE 12.1 has reached end of SUSE support none of which have been posted. Change of mind or slip-up? - -- Cheers Carlos E. R. The wrap up notice will be posted soon, and yes we stopped 12.1 to a large degree, just flushing out some leftovers. The advance notice we forgot this round, sorry. Most people should be aware by now however that a new release will mean 2 months left. I thought so.

Ok!

Not everybody. Only those tracking these things. ;-) I know of people asking in the forums that even now are installing 11.4 _fresh_, and no, they know nothing of Evergreen either. That may be exceptional, but I know of several others using 12.1 that are not aware that it is almost EOL. Recent post hours ago reminded me of it... - -- Cheers, Carlos E. R.
