thank u, i got it, but now the problem is the image is not sticky. can you tell me how to make it sticky to the frame where i am displaying the image?
Sticky? You mean it is displayed once, and then is disappears (after a redraw)? There are several ways: Use QPixmap::convertFromImage(QImage) to make a Pixmap out of the QImage object. Then use a QLabel to display the image permanently, or reimplement QWidget::paintEvent() and draw the image on every paint event. best, Jeroen
