Hi, I've been trying to install SuSe Linux 10 on my new 15" powerbook G4, 1.67Ghz, to no efford. I partitioned my hard drive and booted from CD1, but when I try to install it says "Could not find the SUSE Linux Installation CD". Then when I go on with the manual setup, it tries to mount the CD-ROM but stops with the message "Make sure that CD number 1 is in your drive". I'm sure off course, 'cause i justed started up from the CD... Help would be nice! Kind regards, Judith van Steen

Can you try the 10.1 beta1 iso, either from opensuse.org, or the fixed one from ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/powerpc/ ? The IDE driver in 2.6.13 may not know about the very recent hardware. -- short story of a lazy sysadmin: alias appserv=wotan
