This may not be an SuSE question per say, but does anyone know if Linux will run on one of the PC Compatibility cards for the PowerMacs like the Orange Micro? I realize that these cards were desgined for WinDoZe, but it should be possible to run linux on it. The question is: Has anyone tried? Anyone have any luck with SuSE PPC on this machine? I tried it a while ago and was able to get a desktop (after some finagaling as I recall) but was never able to get sound or video working properly and i finally gave up on it... Would like to try it again, but don't want to go through a bunch of hassle if it is not going to work well out of the box. Regards Greg
With opensuse 10.0 it worked out of the box on our Pismo.

Strange....it worked OK for me, but I was not able to use anything for sound or watching video....perhaps I am just not accustomed to Linux like I am *BSD... I will try it again when I get my new drive... Thanks Greg On Dec 5, 2005, at 5:18 PM, Joseph Kubik wrote:
