I'm not entirely clear what you are looking for but if you want the 2.4.2 kernel, just download the k_deflt rpm in the /kernel/2.4.2 ftp directory. The kernel "vmlinux-2.4" will be installed in your /boot directory. This is the 2.4.2 kernel. If you want sources, Olaf has always directed me to kernel.org and then apply the patches found in the /kernel/2.4.2/src directory on the ftp site. hope that helps. joss (some 2.4.x modules go under different names than 2.2.x modules so you have to change /etc/modules.conf. e.g. ppp=ppp_generic, dmasound=dmasound_core/awacs, etc.) -- http://www.josswinn.org
