rpm -q --qf "%{VERSION}" systemd should give you the currently installed version number of the package systemd. Assuming that either rpm and systemd is (pre)installed on a running system, you can also run this query in an RPM (pre/post/...) script. I am aware of rpm querry method but I was trying to avoid it in the spec file. So I guess you also want to avoid "systemd --version"? In that case it's hard to find an answer for me... ;-) Regards, Lars -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org
