[opensuse-packaging] .changes of sub-packages?
IIRC, it is possible to provide dedicated .changes for sub-packages. It does not seem to be enough to add a $package-$subpackage.changes file. At least the BS seems to prefer the default $package.changes file for the sub-package, too. I tried it here: https://build.opensuse.org/package/files?package=yast2-slide-show&project=YaST%3AHead -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org

Yes. There's also only one source rpm. Yes, but own version numbers are possible. I probably confused it with these version numbers. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org

For some of my packages (e.g., yast2-slide-show) it would be handy--but I can live without it ;) If it starts hurting too much, I'll use two or three spec files. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org

Can't you just mention in the .changes entry for which subpackage you're doing the changes? Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
