I think, package should be renamed, if there is no more -ose and such.

Please evaluate the option to include "binary" GuestAdditions, because they are now OSE, and could be legally included. OBS cannot build them on-the-fly, because they require Windows systems. -- -Alexey Eromenko "Technologov" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
hi, alexey, (thanks for you work on virtualbox)
I think there is no need to push GuestAdditions.iso to our virtualbox
package, user could still download this iso using 2-clicks in vbox gui
menu - if they need ... there was already attempt to add GA iso to
repos see https://features.opensuse.org/307467 ... but i thing overall
mood (mainly here on mailing list) was against this step ...
from my packagers view there is no problem to create subpackage with
iso inside, but I want to avoid non standard steps like having windows
binaries inside iso image (copyed from somewhere) - inside rpm
package ...
bye

The whole point of distribution is to make software feature-complete available for all users. Even those who don't want to depend on the internet. -- -Alexey Eromenko "Technologov" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
