[opensuse-packaging] remove obsolete packages from obs/software download
Dear all, this question has been asked several times, also in opensuse forums and left unanswered, also the wiki doesn't give any help. So I'm asking here: How do I remove obsolete packages left in obs and with it for download? For an example see home:lumnis/yabs, where the i586 packages should be removed not to waste any space and to confuse users, as updated packages are created on the x86_64 arch thanks for shedding some light on this. thanks for shedding some light on this.
First of all you need to enable publishing, otherwise the repos on the ftp servers get not touched. You can remove disabled packages afterwards with osc wipebinaries --build-disabled $PROJECT -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH email: adrian@suse.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org

When I try to do this osc wipebinaries --build-disabled home:lumnis yabs I'm getting an error like that <--- Server returned an error: HTTP Error 400: Bad Request wipe binary rpms failed for project home:lumnis package yabs code=disabled uncaught exception: unable to find project object for home:lumnis ---> and I tried several options, with/without package name, publish enabled/disabled etc., but couldn't get it to work. Could you shed some light on where I'm going wrong. cheers, Denny -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
