Are you trying to build kernel module packages (KMP) in OBS? Then there are some macros for you. I'd suggest you have a look at existing packages that do KMPs at the moment (example openSUSE:11.2 / open-vm-tools).

Look for lines containing KMP... you'll figure them.

I looked at open-vm-tools-spec and it doesn't really answer my question, it seems to solve the problem with "Requires: vmware-guest-kmp", I was looking for a non kmp module way. Is there possibly a way of finding out which flavor of kernel is installed perhaps, then I could use conditionals. Thanks for the link to the manual.
