Re: [opensuse-mobile] Re: moving between proxy settings
Hi I just checked but have not tried it. There is an option to tick "Allow profile management for Non-root Users" there is also a configure option next to it. It lets you ad users. I assume this would do the trick. Cheers Norbert

is there a way to run is as non-root? or can we escalate the reg. user privaledges just for the yast2 profile manager? similar to how zmd.

Hi
For my openSUSE laptop I use the YAST Profile Manager. I have three settings: Home Office Travel
Each profile has different network settings. Depending where I am and what I am doing, the appropriate profile is used. I find it works pretty well.
