Hi list, I would like to ask if anybody on this list has a compiled DSDT file for my laptop (the custom one and not the original) I am using suse 9 and having the usual acpi problems when the laptop is powered by the AC and not the battery. If I am using the iasl tool from Intel I get errors when compiling even my standard DSDT ! Regards Kim

Why not updating to a 2.4.24 kernel? I have the same notebook and on my system I have a 2.4.24 vanilla kernel running without changing the DSDT. BTW It wasn't the DSDT being buggy, it was the kernel itself. So why getting a work around instead of having a proper kernel. Best regards Stefan

The ASUS M2400N has become a success in the Linux community. We have configured many of these machines, our installation is listed at TuxMobil http://tuxmobil.org/asus.html there are actually many more installation reports.
