Is anyone out there using the Clutter build? It doesn't appear (the latest build at least) to be taking advantage of OpenGL, as my code is running very slow, using all of my CPU resources, and is not linking with libopengl32.a. Any suggestions? Adam, I just built it. It is not linking with libopengl32.a because it is dlopening the stuff. I would really not mind someone to debug it. I built it first because some of my friends in Intel working on clutter kindly asked me, but I was never really able to use it. But it is not like I use regularly all the packages we build. If you debug it, fix it, submit the patches and if you want, you can be the maintainer of that package and all that depend on it. If you want, naturally. F. Hi Fridrich,
Thanks for your reply. Perhaps it is not related to the OpenGL then,
but instead clutter-gst. I was able to display several
gstreamer-based clutter textures that were playing a test video
sequence (testvideosrc module in gstreamer), and it was extremely
slow. It runs fine on Linux on the same machine, so what I'm going to
do is get in touch with the authors of clutter-gst to see if we can
get to the bottom of things. I'll let you know if we have any
success.
Best regards,
ag.
