Hello friends,

I'm so happy about what I did in Florina. Although I moved about 3 hours from home for this event, I did great.

I was the organizer of the event with the help of the local team of computer school teachers.

I went there in the morning and met my friend who is neurologist and he introduced the medical open source world. Unfortunately he couldn't stay. He can help us with the medical project.

Then I met with the elementary school teacher and setup the place. We were at the city center.

What I did there: 1. Inform people about open source. Although I had all distros, I was promoting the Green DVDs ;-) 2. Lot of local media came for the event. I was interviewed by 2 of them (video) and other 3 were newspapers and some other web sites. 3. A journalist, invited me for further tv interview (I'm waiting for her call). She also invited the community to present open source to a school. Maybe we can make an install fest, if they want us. So we also wait for a call for that. 4. I gave some promo materials to a local LUG and also to a member of our community who wants to organize a Linux Team at his university (it's near Florina).

Unfortunately the last bus back to my city was early that day and didn't stay longer.
