[opensuse-marketing] Release Artwork for Facebook and Google+
Hi all, to promote the upcoming release of 12.2 on Facebook and Google+ I created pictures for Facebooks Timeline and Google+ Cover-Photos. There are two images, one saying "Coming Sept. 5" and one "Available Now", each in English and German. Since I'm still waiting to get access to the artwork git repos the images can be downloaded from here for now: http://tux93.org/files/openSUSE/ If someone needs the *.xcf files to create images for their own language pleas let me know. -- Marcel Kühlhorn freenode: tux93 Have a lot of fun!

Great job Marcel! One suggestion: For the "Available now" Facebook banner, it should include the URL for downloading 12.2 (http://software.opensuse.org). Otherwise friends who see the image won't know where to go. We should also have a Spanish version of the banner (Just suggested to Anditosan a minute ago to make one since he speaks Spanish.) Additionally, we should make a profile pic version for Facebook and we need twitter background wallpaper and twitter icon pic. Wait until the "Available Now" banner has the download URL on it first before we announce to everyone to put it on. I don't think there's really any room for the banner on the landing page without significantly changing the layout. And besides, the countdown banner exists already. I'd suggest instead, have the svgs made up quickly so thwn the countdown reaches 0, there's new artwork. The artwork background would be the 3-cardd DVD deck that Marcel perfected.
