Sorry. You have misunderstood that. The first part was a story about the studying days and which people have been there. 100 students would be too much. Your wife is right. The time was short and it was focused on too wide an audience. Advanced don't want to create a "Hello world" or learn Basics. Beginners can't begin on advanced level. You need some different workshops or something about many days, what succeed. How about a workshop like 2011 held by Pascal? It extended over many days, but all were able to learn new things.
