Hi all, I think we have a fair amount of 11.1 DVDs available, maybe we can distribute among school and college students and just let them know about openSUSE and open source along with this and speak on open source. Since this is going to be about three days, send 500, I will see what I can do on the 11.2, at the Texas Linux Fest, a lot people were really unhappy when I ran out of 11.2, I had to force them to take 11.1 DVD. The problem with the 11.1 is they are 32-bit and I am seeing that a lot of people want to do the 64-bit. If I were looking for a new job, I go out buy about 300 blanks and burn them myself. I am planning to burn about 50 open Li-F-e, that one seem to get a lot request when I am at these events.

Also, we will need more T-Shirts and other items. I wish you guys could send a couple of the box set so that we could give them out as prizes. It just a thought.

I am planning to bring two laptop with me so I can show off openSUSE and open Li-F-E. Friend as even given me a projector.

Anyway, please send me what you can. I have sent Y. Smith an e-mail. I don't remember seeing send an annoucement to the opensuse-marketing list that he wants to be an ambassador. So I didn't know he was there, seem we have a lot people putting their name on the page, but not sending e-mails to opensuse-marketing list.

Are we going to do a big batch of 11.3? I am only asking because I will be doing ALF as well, and I am open to go to others.

Have you tried SUSE Studio? Need to create a Live CD, an app you want to package and distribute , or create your own linux distro. If you are going to be an Ambassador, just send an e-mail to the openSUSE Marketing , you have done the first part and put your name on the Ambassador list. Gnokii, is right you don't have to be an Ambassador to help at the booth, but if you are serious about being an Ambassador, just send an e-mail to the list, announce that you want to be an Ambassador.
