No idea, honestly. It's open-source Apache, so I can't imagine why it would have strong issues.

Then it should be fine. Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure that our Plone servers are running on SLES 10 (no better place to test than on your own network, right?) http://plone.org/ has all of the documentation/information on the project.
