Dear Andrea, When will your project with the latest life CD be ready? I like the setup of LXDE but coming of the KDE crowd, I have an overcrowded desktop with a lot of tools from KDE. Would like to know how a pure LXDE feels. In LXDE there are some things that do not work like I expected it but that may be due to interference of up to date KDE stuff. Thanks in advance Constant -- Linux User 183145 using LXDE on a Pentium IV , powered by openSUSE 11.3 (i586) Kernel: 2.6.36-rc2-5-default LXDE WM & KDE Development Platform: 4.5.00 (KDE 4.5.0) 17:41pm up 3:42, 2 users, load average: 2.60, 2.90, 3.38 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+help@opensuse.org

You can just download the ISO image from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/lxde/images/iso/ It works fine. -- Guido Berhoerster -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+help@opensuse.org

Installing a pure LXDE on my system proved to be problematic. After setting up the installation data, the instalation stopped with the information "Calling the Yast module inst_prepdisk has failed. More information can be found near the end of the 'var /log/YAST2/y2log' file. There is some information that it should be reported to bugzilla with the information from above file but after quiting this window which is the only button which reacts the system is dead and only a reboot is the only way out. Is there a way to get a pure LXDE install? -- Linux User 183145 using LXDE on a Pentium IV , powered by openSUSE 11.3 (i586) Kernel: 2.6.36-rc2-6-default LXDE WM & KDE Development Platform: 4.5.00 (KDE 4.5.0) 10:41am up 0:10, 2 users, load average: 1.66, 2.00, 1.25 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+help@opensuse.org
