Hi there,
there seems to be a glitch in the package management with the current 3.2 build, for the desktop flavour, it wants to either install -base or the rest of the kernel.
Hi, and that's perfectly OK. You need only one of those. -base for a limited environment and non-base for standard use. This changed years ago for openSUSE. For SLE it is a different story, one still needs both. - -- js suse labs -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.18 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJPCJ7JAAoJEL0lsQQGtHBJe1QP/id8SUY3WzIdF2Hx+SCRRFDN vRUujC2/30r6sFlIqQvNkwN4fEx6/D1U8g8cvtMCGHvu4lXzC8ItOYml+7g+r+ax iTm3v4/4xCO0diG2ojEbPUYkY9yEnjyvvYpIpmK3Sf7Q+QgmE/m2aRsXYmIT6aY0 NdJVWP3BssglKav+fwbLYLxLjvA88upZBH7VikhvRz88A/rqgau1dKq7kaQmjyf0 jYkcmiW+vFZDt6solewePYteaZ7peLOE5zBISvWWvOy9OUhEdvPk/+yj/7+doH+k EEDzspu4m5WzMNcgdWNIP7qUU7fRhjlNVNheIP5w//YCmvuykHFWhujLe7mVWX+R 6qc8NM5JC/Yqhiws6vfJaOysElapOU14+iaxQX/kgqsF1qJiX9UFMfnW9QBbbTC7 3b3FBpbUukc/YhOdMreS5LdIXftt6tEd4lFJQoj7Ttd7QXA9BZG//AKV2PGnM8/0 NRKL200/LctMwhfAtQ6TmL4qvV0nBr7qJ0N5mmgGhL1jaPn+mOd5OwSa72RlvbEo 4Lz97A+7VKucs4C6f8K6L//XK+yUzna95PmX33sZDbehAyRMNKziH+80JVWSmryz 0Zr6MXRnSicYSeS3aXfEkFQKjC3MuWQkdW7K1oSLSZAwXs1qK/39WBFnIaFUZT8Y 5eJbzc/iJcaq6cH9pF6/ =ZZUf -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Thanks for the quick reply, that's curious because at the 3.1.7 build, I've still installed both rpms. On 01/07/2012 08:36 PM, Jiri Slaby wrote:

Yeah, it was *forced* even now.
