[opensuse-kernel] no boot desktop-3.12.32 from home:/mkubecek:/evergreen-13.1/openSUSE_13.1
Is this a known problem? I spotted nothing on point in Bugzilla. 13.2 on same AMD 64 system is OK. I installed 3.12.32 in part because X segfaults on startup with original 3.11.4 kernel and both original and post-updates initrds. As the log complains about missing firmware (radeon/KAVERI_pfp.bin), please try this first: 1. extract /lib/firmware/radeon/KAVERI_* from 13.2 kernel-firmware 2. copy those files to lib/firmware/radeon 3. run mkinitrd and try to boot again I'll add a proper kernel-firmware update to my repository later. However, there may still be problems with X server and/or Mesa.
