Hi, list. When someone sends me a link in a mail in http://server/url.html fotmat, if I click on it konqueror just won't start and show the web page, so that I have to start konqueror and paste the link. I have tried to enable the "allow external references" in the security tag of the kmail config menu, but it opens a download window for a second, gets the page, and after that it wont open it up with konqueror. I searched in /tmp/kde-myuser, but no clues at all. It must be a very silly thing to do, anybody help me, please? My sistem is a SuSE 8.2, all updates downloaded. Thanks.
I feel ignored! Can anyone please help me? Thanks. El Martes, 10 de Febrero de 2004 14:18, Manuel Balderrábano escribió:

If no one answers, it's probably because no one has an easy answer. That happens sometimes. Paul Abrahams

Don't feel ignored anymore :) However, what you have is NOT what should happen. So probably something is wrong in your settings.

From what I know, here is what you should look for: Open the KDE control center -> KDE components -> file associations Now check the text/html settings, application preference order. I for one have: opera / Konqueror / kate. THis means when I click on a link in kmail it opens in Opera. Maybe check the application/xhtml settings as well. I hope this helps.
