[opensuse-kde] kio_http process eats all CPU ressources
Hello, I installed two plasmoids, "flickr on plasma" (dont know if this is the real English name for it) and yet another wheather plasmoid, yaWP. Now, after some days running I notice two kio_http processes that cause a 100% CPU load. Now I wonder, is there a bug in the plasmoids or is this a kio_http issue? I run the latest KDE 4.2.95, release 139 from the Factory repo. This used to happen to me in the past and it was attributed to a weather plasmoid. I'm not sure whether it was yaWP or Weather Forcast. I no longer have this problem and I'm running 4.2.95 on oS11.0. I have plasmoid-yawp-0.2.3-4.14.i586 and kweather-4.2.95-37.5.i586 installed
I have used plasmoid-yawp-0.2.3-4.20 and plasmoid-flickr-0.6-1.1 I will now try another wheather plasmoid and see, whether the issue persists... Malte -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

I've been seing this since the upgrade from 4.2 to 4.3rc1 too. My prime suspect was the comic strip widget, but I also use yaWP, so that's probably my true enemy. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

it is most likely fixed in RC2. (at least there was a bug that caused an endless loop that we debugged during the desktop summit and fixed). Greetings, Dirk -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
