[opensuse-kde] Nepomuk / Strigi taskbar icon
Has someone also noticed that there's no more nepomuk/strigi icon in the taskbar ? Or is it just me (I've check if it was not in the hidden part, but no. This appear after the 4.6 upgrade from 4.5.3) -- Bruno Friedmann (irc:tigerfoot) Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member User www.ioda.net/r/osu Blog www.ioda.net/r/blog fsfe fellowship www.fsfe.org GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 vcard : http://it.ioda-net.ch/ioda-net.vcf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

i thought this was an intentional decision; seen it mentioned somewhere, but forgot where. the command 'akonaditray' starts an applet to control the akonadi server in the system tray, including the option to temporarily stop indexing. -- phani. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

oops, what i wrote is wrong: this stops the whole akonadi server, not indexing. to stop indexing only one has to go via systemsettings, or calling the dialog directly with 'kcmshell4 kcm_nepomuk'. -- phani. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

or, as i've just seen in the bug report, suspend or resume strigi with these commands: qdbus org.kde.nepomuk.services.nepomukstrigiservice /nepomukstrigiservice suspend qdbus org.kde.nepomuk.services.nepomukstrigiservice /nepomukstrigiservice resume (going to assign aliases for these in .bashrc) -- phani. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
