[opensuse-kde] digikam unstable breakage
Currently digikam is not compiling in the KDE:Unstable:SC repo. I googled the error message and it looks like it is a problem fixed in more recent git versions. It looks like the package has services set up for easy git pulls. Would it be possible to run these services to get a more recent git version? Currently neither the stable version of digikam (1.9.0) or the most recent beta (2.0.0 beta 5) compile in KDE:Unstable:SC. -Todd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
Hi Todd, I just triggered the update of digikam and kipi-plugins in KDE:Unstable:SC. I will check if it build fine now. Raymond On Friday 03 June 2011 01:51:16 todd rme wrote:

I also noticed that installing digikam-bundled does not remove digikam1. However starting digikam1 is not possible since "digikam" starts digikam2. So should the bundled package not remove the digikam1 package? Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
Hi Sven, The digikam-bundled package creates a digikam2. However in KDE:Unstable:SC the standard digikam package itself was updated to a higher version. So there we do not have digikam1 nor digikam2, just digikam. Regards Raymond On Friday 03 June 2011 10:56:56 Sven Burmeister wrote:

If I install the digikam-bundled package from playground (http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Unstable:/Playground/openSUSE... ) I only get a "digikam" binary and not digikam2. Thus the digikam binary from the 11.4 package is hidden/removed although the package is not removed.
