[opensuse-kde] KDE 4 beta
Hello! What is the status of the KDE packages in the build-service? They are updated daily so is it worth reporting bugs or does a daily updated RPM not mean that it is updated to that day's SVN revision? For example for the last week the picture-frame plasmoid makes plasma crash, yet it seems to work for others as it is included in screenshots of beta 1. It's not worth reporting general KDE4 bugs yet, but anything to do with the SUSE 10.3 integration of KDE4 would be. For example: *) Settings of KDE3 app corrupted after trying KDE4 version of the same *) KDE4 app starts under KDE3 when trying to start KDE3 version *) Vice-versa when running a KDE4 session *) Unexpected problems when starting a KDE4 session ("KDM tries to start a session and then everything crashes and returns to KDM" is almost expected, though) Will -- Will Stephenson IRC: Bille -- Desktop Engineer Interfaces and Applications Team --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

More weekly than daily. :-)

Works for me with the current (=yesterday's) KDE:KDE4 packages. Bye, Steve --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
