[opensuse-kde] problem with kmail, have to deliver the logs of mail transport.
Hi. I have currently a problem with authorization with an account at "mailbox.org" a German email provider. In order to be able to understand what the issue is, why the authorization fails etc, they ask me the logs of the mail program. That is of kmail? Or maybe also of postfix (if postfix is in leap the responsible program). Could somebody please point me to the places where kmail and or any other related sub program deposits the logs of failed sending / receiving authorizations? Thank you. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

if you have not installed one of the *syslog replacements, you need to get they using journalctl. there is a manpage. I use rsyslog and would have to chase down journalclt syntax. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
