[suse-kde] kde 3.1.1-33 style and other problems
After updating kde (to 3.1.1-33) through apt yesterday / today I noticed the look of kde changed. So I went to check if liquid was still selected in Control Center > Appearance > Style, and most of the style choices have disappeared. All that's there are the qt styles. Anyone else have this problem? I also noticed that in kmail under the folder properties there is no longer a way to control which folder a subfolder belongs to. The pull down menu only has top level as a choice. (kde network-mail 3.1.1-35) Any ideas on how to get the styles back? I assume they are still there but not showing up in the list. I ran SuSEconfig but they still didn't show up. Also any ideas about the kmail folder properties fiasco? I had to re-enter that my suse-kde folder contains a mailing list, and the folder jumped out of it's subfolder. My organized kmail will soon be chaos. -- Franklin Maurer Using SuSE 8.1

First be sure that you updated to qt 3.1.2 After that, all standard kde styles will be back again. If liquid is still missing and you are sure you have the latest rpm (liquid comes as a seperate package), then fetch the liquid src.rpm and rebuild it. Greets, Daniel

Sorry about replying to the wrong message but I threw out the other one. Someone said to upgrade to the latest qt, and that solved the style problem. They all reappeared after logging out and logging back in. Any ideas on the kmail folder properties? -- Franklin Maurer Using SuSE 8.1
