complete crash on KDE 3.2 exit :-((((((((
Hello, I lost ALL my settings including my self made desktop files, key shortcuts of KDE 3.2 and all its applications, e.g kmail (even an additional icon set is not there any longer) when I exited KDE. When exited KDE the machine froze and I had to cold start the machine. A crash can but shouldn't happen but what went wrong that I Iost ALL individual settings. I do not know much of KDEs directory structure and config files. What needs to be backupped in order to able to restore my costomization work. I almost feel backported to Win95 :-( cu Stefan

Saving the .kde (or .kde3) directories from your home directory should provide pretty complete backup of your KDE settings, I'd think. Paul Abrahams
