[opensuse-kde] KDE 4.3.5 KMail and IMAP sent folder
Hi there, I use openSUSE 11.2 on x64 and KDE 4.3.5. I use IMAP and my sent folder is on the IMAP server. Nevertheless, sometimes KMail stores the sent mail *not* on the IMAP sent folder, but on my old local folder I used before IMAP. Of course, in my identity I have set the IMAP sent folder as the sent folder. How can I make KMail *always* use the IMAP sent folder for sent mail? Do you have use more than one identity? On the View menu in the message composer, you can make KMail display the sent- mail folder it is going to use. Can you enable that for a bit to see under what conditions KMail uses different sent-mail folders? I use several identities, but only one identity for IMAP.

Thanx for that hint. So in future sent messages I will take care there to enable the correct sent folder. Regards Malte -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Maybe you have a different identity set on one of your folders, so when creating a new mail while viewing that folder, that identity is used, along with the local sent-mail configured for that identity. NB you can also show an identity selector in the composer. Will
