[opensuse-kde] QT56 on TW with Factory KF5/Plasma5
Is there a set of repos that allow me to do this? I'm currently using just these two repos (in addition to the base TW repos): http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Frameworks5/openSUSE_Factory/ http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Applications/openSUSE_Factory... If I add QT5 ( http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Qt5/openSUSE_Factory/ ), I get conflicts with numerous KF5 libs. I've looked thru KDE:Unstable briefly, perhaps some combination of those? -- Noee mailto:mikenoe@centurylink.net "openSUSE Tumbleweed (20160516) (x86_64)" https://www.opensuse.org Linux 4.6.0-1.gd9e67cc-default, KDE Frameworks: 5.22.0/Plasma: 5.6.4/Qt: 5.5.1 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

In this case you'd also need the unstable KDE repos though (KDE:Unstable:Frameworks, and maybe also KDE:Unstable:Applications and KDE:Unstable:Extra), which are being built against KDE:Qt56. But, as Luca wrote, there's no need to going unstable any more, Qt 5.6 is in Tumbleweed since today, so the standard Factory/Tumbleweed packages are being built against Qt 5.6 too and there shouldn't be any conflicts any more. Yes, the main repository, since a few minutes ago. ;) Jokes aside, just update to the latest TW and you should get Qt 5.6. -- Luca Beltrame - KDE Forums team KDE Science supporter GPG key ID: A29D259B
