[opensuse-kde] A question about... questions.
I have started a new blog about openSUSE, and wondered if it would be OK to ask questions (individual or grouped) for the purpose of clarifying things in my blog. I wanted to make sure it was not considered an offensive misuse or waste of time before I did so. Here is the link to the blogs initial post which explains what I'm doing. http://opensuseadventures.blogspot.com/2011/11/beginnings- introduction.html -- The average income of the modern teenager is about 2 a.m. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

For openSUSE questions, the openSUSE forums and the general opensuse mailing list are probably the best place (openSUSE-factory is more for planning and improving the next openSUSE release). For KDE questions, the opensuse-kde mailing list (this mailing list) and the official KDE forums (http://forum.kde.org) are good places. For non-openSUSE-related KDE questions the KDE forums are probably a better place (disclaimer: I am a manager on the KDE forums) -Todd -Todd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

I'm perfectly happy to answer your KDE questions in here. If they are obvious questions I'll point you to the manual and let you know to look harder before asking :). If you want to record how you learn what the right places to look are, and share that, it would help real newbies too.
