-- Regards, Jens Strohschnitter ------------------------------------- *!!!LINUX LINUX LINUX LINUX LINUX!!!* * http://www.jens-strohschnitter.de * ------------------------------------- Set the controls for the heart of the sun -------------------------------------

Hi, I have changed as written in the sdb the UTF-Support to NO, but nothing happens. I searched the internet and the sdb but nothing works for me. The filenames that were not correctly displayed are created by Windows over Samba (2.2.8a). What can I do else to fix this problem ? Hope you can help me :) -- Regards, Jens Strohschnitter ------------------------------------- *!!!LINUX LINUX LINUX LINUX LINUX!!!* * http://www.jens-strohschnitter.de * ------------------------------------- Set the controls for the heart of the sun -------------------------------------

I am sorry but at the moment I can't help you right away with this ... But google returns quite a lot of results searching for: windows samba umlaute group:*linux* even within the last 6 months. It seems to me that this is a common problem. Best regards, Florian
