The autologin is Control Centre - System Administration - Login Manager - Convenience (you need Administrator Mode to change it). I doubt that time drift is anything to do with KDE. You want to be looking at the likes of xntp to synchronise your clock. -- Vic Ayres
Not familiar with the auto login problem but I did have an issue with the clock drifting every day. I deleted "adjtime" from /etc, resynced the system clock with an ntp server, then synced the hardware clock to the system time. That was last spring and it hasn't drifted since. Tom Russell wrote:

The time issue: Try this: in /etc is a file named adjtime. Adjust your time and then rename this file, or remove it, doesn't really matter - it will be created again. Hope that helps, -- Sabine
