[opensuse-kde] Networkmanagement plasma checkboxes and checkmark are too dark to view clearly in openSUSE 12.3
Hello all, As you know seeing if something is enabled or disabled is very import for any user pf openSUSE 12.3. Using the new openSUSE dark theme: When I click on the network interface icon, I notice that both checkbox and checkmark are very dark. Can the maintainer change the checkbox to grey and checkmark to green? Cheers! IIRC, the issue is in Plasma itself and not in the theme, and I think it's solved in versions that came out after the original 12.3. shumski, can you confirm? -- Luca Beltrame - KDE Forums team KDE Science supporter GPG key ID: 6E1A4E79

Yes, issue was[1] that the checkbox didn't use Plasma colors, but that is resolved meanwhile. @Roman, what happens if you do: kquitapp plasma-desktop rm ~/.kde4/cache-$HOSTNAME/plasma* kstart plasma-desktop ?

I'm getting this: rm ~/.kde4/cache-$HOSTNAME/plasma* rm: cannot remove ‘/home/mantrid/.kde4/cache-opensuse/plasma-wallpapers’: Is a directory DO you want me to delete the openSUSE cache? -- Cheers! DO you want me to delete the openSUSE cache?
When I ran kquitapp plasma-desktop it cause my desktop to freeze up. So I had to press CNTL+ALT-Backspace and log in again. I've attached a new screenshot. Cheers! Roman

It would look alot better if you could replace the black checkmarks with green checkmarks. -- Cheers! Roman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

It would look alot better if you could replace the black checkmarks with green checkmarks. Well, the checkmarks are *not* black, but at the same color as plasma

Oxygen shows the grey checkmarks. I'm using Qtcurve. -- Cheers! Roman

I just downloaded your theme and the checkmarks are looking better in Oxygen. However, there is a real problem with qtcurve. Perhaps something is filtering this out in qtcurve. -- Cheers! Roman

Yes. Somehow is the checkmark painted with QtCurve's colors instead of the Plasma one. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

The problem was with qtcurve. So I changed it to grey in qtcurve. -- Cheers! Roman

OK, though still the issue remains that the check(box, mark) colors shouldn't come from style, but rather plasma colors. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Very true. I have to look into qtcurve as it has a lot of features. -- Cheers! Roman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

The problem is not only with qtcurve (that can be worked around) but most of the other widget styles as they don't offer any editing options. Cheers! Roman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
