I can confirm that something broke but also that it's now fixed. I'm not sure about the cause but it wasn't KR49. I had enabled both multimedia:/libs as well as PackMan, I'm sure the bug was somewhere there. After disabling both repos and doing a 'zypper dup' sound and multimedia playback in general came back. I re-added PackMan (multimedia:/libs is still off) and it still works. However repos depending on KR49 are currently all broken because KR49 is building SC 4.9.4, so I'd only 'dup' if it's important.
