Correction
So that the brand name of your monitor shows up in "Display" section.
I think it would be a great improvement. The manufacturer name is already extracted from the EDID data by Kephal so it should be easy to add to the UI. I am currently mentoring a Google Summer of Code project to improve the Display module and the infrastructure it is based on and I will pass this on to my student.
