Knotes broken in 3.3.1?
Anyone else having problems using Knotes in 3.3.1 on 9.2? If I add a note, that note is not saved when closing the app (whether manually or by exiting a session). The original install from the DVD also had a broken Knotes. An update of the kdepim3 packages from suse-people a week ago fixed that bug, but the 3.3.1 update from a couple of days ago broke Knotes again. Thanks in advance. sargon
Yes I am having the same problem. In fact I used to keep a lot of info in my notes and they all disappeared when I upgraded never to be seen again. I am using SuSE 8.2. Andrew On Wednesday 17 Nov 2004 17:07, sargon wrote:

This is a reason to make a backup prior to upgrading. ;) Cheers, Leen

Known bug in knotes The workaround for now is to symlink ~/.kde/share/apps/knotes/knotesnotes.ics to ~/.kde/share/apps/knotesnotes.ics. You should also symlink ~/.kde3/share/apps/knotes/notes.ics to ~/.kde/share/apps/knotesnotes.ics too. Charles
