hi i have kde 3.2 i would like to know if there are any anti-spam tool with kmail thanks -- borland rulez http://pages.infinit.net/borland
Nope, there's nothing built in. There is a good set of documentation about how to set up kmail with an external spam filter here: http://kmail.kde.org/tools.html#antispam Basically, you'll need install the spam filter of your choice, and create a few filters in kmail to pipe mail through it (see the docs above). I've used spamassassin in this way very successfully, although I found that on my rather slow machine, it's a rather large drain on resources and I'm considering switching to bogofilter. Craig

This is what I did. Bogofilter is *much* faster but a little less efficent. It gets better by training and the fact that I have to wait to train it shows that little spam gets through. I did keep a few text filters after bogofilter and my current result is 1-4% spams get through (this means that in the "inbox" spams are far below 1%).
