How to change teh size of icons in the kde-menu
Hi, all I have KDE3.2 on SUSE 9.1. I have spent ages digging around in the control centre but I can find nowhere to change the size of the icons in the main KDE menu. I think that they are 32x32 pixels. This means that the menu does not fit in a single vertical column in my 1280x1024 display, which is *very* annoying. Any help would be very welcome. Thanks Alistair

Got this reply on the suse-e list: Open the file .kde/share/config/kickerrc in an editor. Search for the section [menu]. There is a variable "MenuEntryHeight=32". Try, for example, 22 instead of 32. Finally open a console and type "dcop kicker Panel restart". HTH. -- Trey Sizemore trey@fastmail.fm

Edit ~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc. Find the entry [menus] - MenuEntryHeight and change it from 32 to 22 (or 16). -- Vic Ayres
