[opensuse-kde] k3b, kaffeine, kdevelop4, kiosktool, konversation, kst -> KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop
Hello, after discussion on IRC we came to the conclusion to move all packages which are in Factory and had their devel project in rather open KDE:KDE4:Playground to KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop (and linked in KDE:KDE4:UNSTABLE:Desktop also). Nobody should be required to change registered repositories but same package release revisions may unfortunately jump back now. Was trying to install KDE 43 located at http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSU... I keep getting checksum errors on most of the libqt4 files (installed kde 43 this morning on another computer worked ok), I've refreshed, deleted re-added still can't get it to work. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong (yes the one click install fails the same way also) Thanks in advance. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

I have just done a full update of KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop for 11.1 and it went without a problem. Maybe it was just a temporary problem? If the problem persists, please provide more details about it. PS: Please do not send new topics as replies to unrelated mails. The correct solution is the first one, as e.g. koffice2-1.9.98 is old. There is koffice2-2.0.2 at http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSU... , I'm not sure why it is not upgraded to that. My guess is that you need to run 'zypper refresh' (or enable autorefresh for the repositories). -- Lubos Lunak KDE developer -------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s.r.o. e-mail: l.lunak@suse.cz , l.lunak@kde.org Lihovarska 1060/12 tel: +420 284 084 672 190 00 Prague 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Needless to say, but zypper -dup also does reinstall all my packages from BS for some reason...

Even rpmlint disagrees:
python-logilab-common.x86_64: W: no-packager-tag
python-logilab-common.src: W: no-packager-tag
There is no Packager tag in your package. You have to specify a packager
using
the Packager tag. Ex: Packager: John Doo
