If anyone can get this to work could they please post their ~/.kde/share/config/konq* files, excluding konq_history Note that some of the files may contain private stuff in the form of RecentFiles lists, and you might want to give them a quick once over. I imagine everyhing I might need would be in the [settings] section of konquerorrc since thats where BgColor and Background settings are stored.
